Upcoming O-D ’20 RMTS Participant List

The team at Onward is excited about the 2020-2021 school year and we are ready to start planning.  Districts participating in the school-based Medicaid programs must submit a Participant List (PL) each quarter to stay active in the SHARS and/or MAC programs.

The RMTS participant list includes staff who provide SHARS services at least weekly.  If your school district participates in the MAC program, providers must also provide MAC eligible services on a weekly basis in order to be included on the PL.   Districts who participate in both SHARS and MAC may have some overlap of providers.  It is important to understand the similarities and differences of these providers.

Remember!
  • The PL is position-driven meaning providers only need to be included in their primary job role in the event they serve multiple roles within in the ISD.
  • Special Transportation Drivers do not need to be listed on the PL, however all other SHARS approved service area providers should be listed.
  • The RMTS PL should include both state and local funds paid providers as well as federal funds paid providers.
  • The PL should only include vacant positions for positions that are intended to be filled within the PL quarter.
  • The updated PL is due to HHSC, submitted thought the Fairbanks STAIRS system, no later than September 15, 2020.
