This announcement is for all LEAs that are currently completing the 2022 FFY SHARS Cost Report (Oct 1, 2021 – Sept 30, 2022)
Fairbanks sent notification on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 in which confirmed the Indirect Cost Rates (IDCR) is now updated in the STAIRS system.
All current certifications have been voided and the corrected rates are reflected in Step 2. As part of the IDCR update, steps have been un-certified (marked with a red X). Please review the updated IDCR rates in Step 2, and proceed to, save, and return, any un-certified steps 1-5.
If your district already certified the 2022 FFY Cost Report prior to the Indirect Cost Rate notification from Fairbanks, the cost report will be returned and will need to be recertified with new certification documents.
To make up for the lost time, an extension to April 10, 2023 close of business (5:00 p.m. Central Time) is granted and the 60 days correction period is extended to match as well.
